Hi all,
I was fortunate enough to purchase a pair of Linkwitz LX521's from an owner in Portland, Maine. I auditioned the speakers in his home and was floored. I am running them off a Sonance amp, using a MiniDSP to control them.
Over the years and a few different living situations later, I am finally settled in to a new home where I dont expect to move anytime soon. I am, however, not getting the same magic from the speakers. I have rebuilt the configuration files a few times and I believe I may even have some wiring issues/damage to a few of the woofers and/or tweeters. Its a sad state of affairs!
I am wondering if there are any Linkwitz owners in the NH/Maine/MA region that would be open to helping me restore these speakers to their former glory. I have all the hardware, software, etc, but need a second set of eyes/ears to be confident in this system. I would be happy to compensate you for your time.
