Theres a great deal on a pair of faulty LS50w. This is the problem. "I have a pair of first gen KEF LS 50w wireless speakers looking for a new home. They power up but click off 5 - 20 minutes after the initial power up. This problem has been identified amongst other owners."
Any other owners have this problem? Anyone know what the problem is and/or how to fix it?

I wonder if it's the same issue identified in the LSX in this thread, which required capacitor replacement. You'd hope they wouldn't have repeated the mistake of underrated capacitors in another of their active speakers, but I wouldn't be surprised.

After looking at that thread, the disassembly has turned me off the repair. Thanks anyway.

Marginally spec'd components are (still) more or less endemic in the industry. :( cheap or expensive equipment doesn't seem to matter much. Planned obsolescence is still a thing.
