ABX audio test on Denon AVR

Is there a way to take this ABX test on my Macbook Air but listen to it through the DAC on my Denon AVR-X4800H.

I was interested in doing an ABX audio test to see if I can tell the difference between 320k lossy and lossless audio, primarily as a way of deciding between Spotify and Tidal. My wife prefers Spotify because everyone she knows has Spotify, and I see the potential benefit in Tidal having higher fidelity, assuming I can hear the difference. If not, I'm just using more bandwidth for nothing.

I am open to other tests. The one linked to above is the only one I came across.

There are many ways:

- Use AirPlay. Not sure if Denon support the lossless variant though
- 3.5mm to RCA cable, this will be analog though, so if any processing is enabled in the Denon an ADC is in between
- HDMI (via adapter cable)
- USB to optical/coaxial interface

HDMI is probably the simplest and most reliable method.
