hi every1 , im experiencing a problem with my e30 ... as soon as the dac is connected to the pc for either power or usb. there is a really high pitch sound .. like a ground loop but the sound is different , i would compare the sound as a coil wine sound from graphic card.!?! its only happening...

In fact. During the 5 first minutes of listening, ive noticed a slight difference in bass between the l30 stack and the midi3/heresy stack. Bass felt definitely lighter .. id say especially in sub bass ... but in revenged felt less congested..

question regarding your d50s unit ... i had the d50 version before and as far as i can remember , the display was bright ... i received the d50s and the display even at 100% is nowhere near what the other one was ... and the white seems blueish ... how is yours ?

well , will it sound better ....? first what are the headpone ? this is the most important , if the amp of the dx7s have enought power for the headphone u use , than it might sound just a little better cleaner etc ... but if they are under powered by the dx7s's amp , well ull see a bit...

why he need a balanced dac !?? thats statement is purely random ... cause the amp have xlr capablity , dsnt mean it NEED to be used with xlr cable ... i have the thx 887 and and sabaj d5 and i found no sound difference using xlr ... if u dont need that +6 db .. than the d50s using rca is...

I also ordered the p50 linear power supply. Always used the d50 powered by Usb from my pc...But ill try the new version with this power supply
