Mine rolled in last Friday. They are indeed big cases, but for the size & weight of these speakers, I think it was wise move for Harman to use them. They are not "roadie" working level cases, but good for shipping & audio show transport. I'm going to load them on my car hauler to take to storage and bring back the MartinLogan boxes. Need to get these things out of the garage..., they are blocking the race car.

They are monsters to move. Spent most of the week playing around with positioning and running REW sweeps to get them the best I can before running EQ or messing with room treatment. My room is on the small side, so not much wiggle room in positioning speakers; still some work to do, but finally getting to listen to full albums.:) All I can say, is these are much better than my MartinLogans, top to bottom. The bass is not only deeper, which I knew it would be, but more tuneful and a better fill for the room. The mids are close to the ML's. The Highs are different, cymbals, piano and violin are more pristine, more metallic in sound — less "plasticky". The dynamics are much improved, which I suspected they would be. What I didn't suspect, was them being more transparent the MartinLogans', I'm hearing things that I hadn't heard before in recordings, not all recordings, but many of them. So far, I'm quite happy and still have a little more tweaking to do.

Great looking setup! Congrats. Now take those grills off and let us see your white drivers!

Anything less after spending 8 large per side would be disappointing.
Well I didn’t pay list price ;) but it was still my most expensive audio purchase and I agree with the sentiment

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy them as much as we are! We too are hearing things in the music we haven't noticed before. I don't know if this is because our brains are tuned to pick out differences, but we are enjoying the increased clarity.

I agree that it is porn.

But If you watch porn with that setup, how would you describe the soundstage? Inquiring minds want to know.

I suspect either "they are here" or "you are there", on a good recording ;)
Sorry I couldn't resist.
