Sourcing the parts via Hypex, Purifi and Ghent is more expensive than buying prebuilt 1ET400A from the great builders here on ASR. I can highly recommend Apollon amps, impeccable customer service and build quality.

DWI no offense by my other post but I have heard Wilson many times and have never been impressed. I am glad there are so many speaker. companies so we have choices.

Hey I am coming down your way in February. Back to Wilson speakers. I think Amir was being very kind in his review. The Wilson line must increase in terrible sound quality as they move up in price.

Just curious out of the 23 pages of responses has anyone had the opportunity to hear any Wilson speaker in a system?

I have a pair of realistic speakers that I think are cast aluminum. The little minumus two ways. Anybody remember Radio Shack?

I am surprised Wilson hasn’t hit Amir with a cease and desist letter. Wilson are protective of their products and have a list of approved reviewers.

Richlite can be machined with regular woodworking machinery, aluminum you need large CNC machines. I don‘t understand the aluminum speaker craze. Maybe a metallurgist member can explain.

I think they use Richlite but I may be wrong. I know it is a phenolic based board of some type. Richlite is not cheap.

David may I make another suggestion? Replace “aliens” with “subjectivists”.
