What 45 record is on this machine?
I haven’t the slightest idea, I just used a stock photo. I was too lazy to take a picture of mine! I have two different models that I’ll upload photos for sometime later today when I get home. They’re called schneewittchensarg which roughly translates to “Snow White box” and were designed by Dieter Rams for Braun.

You didn't mention the Mario Bellini-designed Yamaha TC-800GL cassette deck in the second photo. ;)

(random internet photo -- I don't have one of these)
I traded the Revox A77 for this one, with no regrets!

I got my A77 through an even weirder series of transactions -- netting one high speed, half-track A77 in very good working order Frankensteined (so to speak) from three organ donors. :p

That said, the Yamaha 'wedge' is a nice looking piece.
As, of course, was Nakamichi's somewhat similar, slightly later (and also, IIRC, mentioned in this thread) two-head 600 cassette deck.

Buy, yeah, the A77 was (still is) a pretty darned nice "prosumer" (albeit barely) tape deck! :)
Chris Squire approved, you know? ;)

I was surprised to see mixing boards here.
I love 19" analog mixers.

Total Ecler fan, this is my little one.

OMG Has there ever been a cooler, better styled ride than the 1950's 2dr wagons?
Compare that to the tiny crapboxes they build today, you have to walk right up and read the name
on the tag to tell one from the other.
Well I own one of these '23 crapboxes, 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds, hauls crap in the back and I am very happy with it. The '56 Nomad will never be duplicated, so I get your point.
