Well with that you made me go check liner notes. Produced by Dave Edmunds, Recorded 1987 in Memphis TN, Mixed at Record Plant in LA & Mastered in NYC,,,, So most likely recorded digitally.
But with Kim Wilson on harp, the Memphis Horns & Chick Leavell on keyboards how can it sound any better

Love the album, pure Knopfler!
The DR of the 2ch 24/192 mix on the BluRay is a DR10, sounds great.
I've no way to measure the Atmos mix but in most cases they're even better,
It is the jewel of the production.
And no "skipping" ever.
