[Test thread]
So you want to set up a home theater. And you want to experience it like you are there.
In a Typical living room?
For something Turn Key? I'd say about this:
But Maybe you don't have a 150,000 Budget. And you really want to get that slam. Let's start with that shall we?
First. We have to forget about using you typical PA amp. You need one of these to 4 of them depending on your placement.
And? How are you going to power it? With 4 of these:
And some of these
Your also going to want a 200 Amp Dual pole Breaker, and Auxiliary box and wire so you can power your amp as well as 240v Home wire and about 25 ft of welding cable.
forget about speaker wire just run some solid copper to all of your subwoofers at this point. it's probably cheaper with home wiring anyways.
Pick up 20 of these for full effect in a small room. you could probably get them for less than $75 now since you're buying so many of them.
Set them up like this.
A Mini DSP to put it all up in time. Or this budget version:
Now forget Bass shakers. Get some of these single phase of course. Use the DSP to activate these as needed with a relay to 120v. or use a Raspberry Pi.
Congrats.
