It was a case of old chuffer meets Apple , allI had to do was set a static ip address,log on to the new routers control panel ( you need a static address to do that, I don't know why ) apple just wouldn't let me, eventually it did after some 'certificate' issue but then it wouldn't let me a second time.
Mike sorted it out I thirty seconds sopom Pom deserved this time.
Waiting for machine to arrive at this very moment!

Re the Kiis they just sound good whatever ,had two guys over earlier in the week and one guy kept saying 'but the bass is over there', pointing at the speakers, I think it was the first time he had heard low bass without the room joining in, his friend who was an amateur recordist just said that is what really tight bass sounds like.
Weiss INT203 should arrive next week so I can compare digital and analogue feeds.

What sounds best, kii three fed direct digitally or from analogue outs of pd2?

If you feed the KII analog signals, it gets converted to digital then back to analog again.

Yea I know, so I guess it's a waste of time to feed it analog but thought I would ask.

It will probably sound perfectly fine, but a waste of a good DAC really. The best thing for Keith to use is a USB bridge with AES/EBU output from the Superstream to the KII. Until our Pro unit comes out anyways.

If you want to mess with the sound, you can use it with the Superserve and tune to tastes with HQplayer. Other wise simply use with Roon like Keith is doing and it sounds awesome as is.

Yes the box is about a foot long by eight inches wide and two deep it measures impeccably!
I was listening to it briefly last night in place of my old Macbook and it sounded fabulous ,I will compare today using the same DAC.
I am going to order another unit from Mike for our other demonstration room.
