Hello, I am considering using an Auris bluMe HD Bluetooth 5.0 Music Receiver with Audiophile DAC to output to an amplifier. The Auris has a DAC and RCA outputs. My question is: do I need an integrated amp or just an amp? My question involves volume. I will be using an iphone to play music via bluetooth to the Auris and out to the amp. I think my iphone will control the volume via bluetooth and i do not need an integrated amp or receiver, is that correct?
And a further question along the same lines: could I have the Auris output directly to active speakers and skip the amp altogether? That would be iphone->Auris->active speakers?
