Treble Clef Speakers?

I hesitated to post this because of the form factor (which I dislike, and is likely to be polarizing) and the cost (which I can't afford). However, it looks like there's Klippel work behind these, active design, integrated DSP, and a number of connection options. Interested to hear opinions, but read the user manual and white paper before you dismiss based on appearance.

No, but if you read the white paper they talk about using Klippel.
But they don't publish any actual data of their finished speakers... which is weird, after telling how much a Spin is important and often correlated with listener's preference. All I see in their white paper are REW graphs with ridiculously huge vertical scale. What's the point?

Even if that thing measures perfectly (I doubt that), it looks nasty.

Yeah I get that. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt right now, and assuming that they did use Klippel and thinking that they might have designed something good (albeit expensive) Doesn't Magico (even more expensive) do the same thing. Say they use Klippel but no publish results?

Somebody here found Klippel results for Magico, and they're quite good.

We are talking about some ≈85 000€ speakers, so I personally do not.

Right. And that is absolutely not worthy of imitation. ;)

Yes, and it wouldn't surprise me if these were good as well. Why go to the trouble and expense of Klippel, add in all the DSP stuff, and not end up with a very good speaker. Take away the awful treble clef symbol, and use the acoustic design principles, and maybe it's a really good speaker that you could live with? As I said in my initial post, I hesitated to link it, but there's somethings in it that interest me.

Well, for me it doesn't matter. I wouldn't let them in my house. But enjoy...

That's an interesting speaker, indeed. So, thanks for sharing it !

But I personally do need more for being convinced. Not just a manufacturer saying their speakers are greatly designed. We then need them to show us something. ;)

When I first saw it I thought the bass looked like a Devialet Phantom on steroids.
