Hello everyone. Has anyone encountered the issue of being unable to play DSD DoP when connecting an iPhone using the Lightning interface to devices like W2-131 after upgrading to iOS 17.5? All software that supports DSD DoP cannot play DSD 64 or DSD 128 properly; it's all noise. Everything went back to normal after reverting to 17.4.1. The DAC device manufacturer says they can't solve it. Can contacting Apple about this issue resolve it?

Hi @Walfisch! Welcome to ASR.

In theory, yes. In practice, good luck!

Personally, I'm a happy camper and long-time user of USB Audio Player Pro. Rarely had any issues, and if I did, the developer would fix them within a week :)

Neutron with ADI-2 series on iPhone 11 and iPad Pro - zero problems with 17.5. DoP up to DSD256 works as before.

Haha. iOS 17.5 may have adjusted things related to external audio devices and volume. I just returned to 17.4.1 and am still restoring data. Look back and see what the difference is. UAPP doesn't seem to have an iOS version. I use Neutron MP, iOS has many inconveniences in DSD playback compared to Android.

I've also tried some devices with no issues. The Fiio Q5S I bought by mistake can be used normally, as is Audirect's Beam 3 Plus. What these two machines have in common is that they support up to 768kHz and DSD 256 DoP. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it.

My W2-131 only supports 384kHz, DSD 128 DoP. There will be a lot of noise when using Neutron MP. Hiby MP and Onkyo HF MP cannot enable DoP. It can be used normally again after returning to iOS 17.4.1, which is strange.
