The SW Audio Fest will be held at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. I'm quite interested, as I live only a couple hours from Dallas and have relatives there. As of yet, I do not see a list of exhibitors. The show is being put on by the men behind Capital Audiofest and Pacific Audio Fest. I hope the turnout is good and it can be an annual event.

The checking line is not bad at all, at least for now!

This demo is absolutely incredible. The sound stage is about a hundred feet wide and all the voices and instruments are clearly presented within it.

I don't see how Josh gets this "big" sound out of these monitors, but they sound great to me. The attack on these is incredible.

I don't know how these would measure but they sure pass my ear test.

Always wanted to hear the Daedalus, but never seen them at a show. Cool they were there. Are those two tweeters I see, or photo lighting playing tricks on my eyes?
Yes, two tweeters.

These Genesis speakers also sounded great and do not cost a fortune.

The Borreson towers produced a very natural sound with a nice sound stage.

I enjoyed this show, but I will say that it was mostly devoid of more affordable, mid priced gear. Most of the systems would total up to $100k or more. Unlike AXPONA and Rocky Mountain Audio Fest when I attended, I didn't see any gear from Revel, Paradigm, Dali, Martin Logan, Anthem, Focal, Canton, Sonus Faber, Legacy Audio, Bowers & Wilkins, PSB, Polk, Wilson Audio, unless I missed them. Since this is only a two hour drive for me, I hope that it is enough of a success to be an ongoing event. Sure beats driving or flying to Chicago.

Make a trip north to The Colony, Nebraska Furniture Mart and check out some Revels. ;)
