Can Sonos Ace play as loud as Airpods Max?
I tested Max many times and one of their strong points is above average maximum loudness as compared to other ANC headphones.
There is Sonos Ace in my local shop but you cant connect to it via bluetooth, it is allowed to only play 4 predetermined songs none of which I am familiar with.
One thing that is holding me back is that I plan to do little production which require higher maximum SPL than normal listening.
The Sonos Ace demo unit has non removable earpads, has glued on usb cable and in front is touchscreen with advertisement videos and 4 test tracks. I listened them with maximum volume and at that SPL, they were comparable to Airpods Max 3 steps below their maximum volume, this makes me concerned.
