As a traveller who has visited both the US and Italy dozens of times I would say the word "pizza" has a totally different meaning in each country. A pizza you get in an Italian pizzeria bears no resemblance to ones you get in the USA in both base and toppings, and quantity of toppings.Japanese readers are advised to avert their eyes before I post something where I mix wasabi powder with the soy sauce.
Ooh... They liked the DiGiorno (a little), which is what I use for the base...

We found 2 large US pizzas plenty for our family of 6 in Florida but need one each in Italy
