SMSL driver for PC USB

I'd give this unit 4 out of 5 from the DO of a Rotel CD player. But that's not why a bought it. I want to stream audio via my PC. SMSL site has a driver download for this unit but when I open the install file I get "there is no app associated with this driver, go to default apps..." Of course there's nothing useful there. Windows 10. This is probably a 101 question, but despite a lifetime in audio I'm lost. Any help is appreciated.
