For $1500, only 100W into 4Ω is a bit disappointing; however, >20W into 32Ω headphones is just batshit (THX 789 is “only” 6W), though I’m gonna bet the output impedance is stupid high as it’s gotta be using the speaker amp.
Based on what Amir has measured in the past where they use the speaker amp for the headphones. I could be wrong, but there’s no data on it in the AP report. What?
2nd harmonic is under -120db at 32ohm 350mW
It's gonna be a good headphone amp. dc offset is 0.1mV.
Also it's basically a power amp, why would you think the output impedance is high?View attachment 29778
? I can't understand what you are saying sorry.Based on what Amir has measured in the past where they use the speaker amp for the headphones. I could be wrong, but there’s no data on it in the AP report.

There is no fundamental difference between headphone amp and speaker amp. Schiit wanted to do it so they did it. Plus the dc offset is very low so no issue.https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...-and-measurements-of-sony-uda-1-dac-amp.7586/
Again, I’m just assuming, as I see no way they can make a headphone amp that’s 24W into 33ohm. The Emotiva A-100 is able to do 12W into 33ohm when installing the included jumper to connect the speaker amp to the headphone output.
You need g.t. 20wpc into 32 ohms for which headphone now? And which brand of hearing aid do they recommend when you accidentally have the volume control set to 5 o'clock?Link
