I just got a pair of open baffle speakers being passed on to me by a friend replacing for now my maggies 1.7
They do sound pretty good but maybe they can be made even better.

I have loads of question to ask from the drivers to the cross overs.
As mid range there is a 8" Lii Audio Fast 8s and here is where the questions start to pile up
1) Lii audio ? apparently there are 2 Lii Audio manufacturers the one that run the "European" web site and another one from what I heard they spit up a while ago but are still making very similar units the one I have have a "plastic" plug and are marked as Fast8 S do any one know a bit more about it ?
From the little I know they look quite well made.
I have measured them whit DATS V3

From the data I have (I have only started using Dats V3in the past week) they have about 96 dB sensitivity
They have replaced ,I believe, same Sonido units.
I should get the 8" Sonido in the next few days ...

The second barrage of questions are regarding the Cross overs

They can do whit a good tidy up to start whit, not a problem for me to do that ...
But I am not sure about the original design choices. To start whit the Fast8 is fed from the binding posts trough a 0.17 mH inductor and a 82uF capacitor. this to limit the top and bottom end?
I will post the full schematic of the cross over shortly. In the mean time What is the best way to measure or simulate the frequency response.
