Do they come in left/right pairs?

Sometimes I see pairs that make me go WTF. These, no, I suppose.

I'm not sure I'd be a fan of the horizontal mid-tweeter layout, though. Seems wrong.

Same here :) ... Interested though in the 4429 ..
JBL needs to put some order in their lineup. They're all over the place.. Recently "discovered" there was a 4306 monitor ... Don't know if it is from the Pro, Synthesis or just JBL lines

Might make more sense in a studio with it laying on its side on the monitor bridge, which would give the tweeter and mid a vertical arrangement.

I thought the 4306 was a Japan only model.

It may be a Japanese model, but in these days of modern times it's only a click away...

Yeah, I know. I was tempted to get one a while ago just based on the looks.

But the specs are pretty ho-hum:

format 2-way bookshelf type
Used unit
LF
200mm diameter pure pulp cone woofer
HF
25mm diameter aluminum - magnesium alloy diaphragm compression driver + high density horn
Impedance 6 Ω
Allowable input 150 W (music)
Output sound pressure level 89 dB (2.83 V / 1 m)
Frequency characteristic 50 Hz to 40 kHz (-6 dB)
Crossover frequency 3.2 kHz
Dimensions (W × H × D) 278 × 460 × 300 mm
weight 12.0 kg

I think I can get by with my 4319's...

Are you kidding me?

Those things suck. You should sell them.

To help you move on to something better, I'd be willing to take them off your hands as an act of charity. ;)

Yeah, they sound like utter crap. Feckin' junk. :D
