//Edit: For anyone reading this in the future, the only ANC wireless headphones I've found that appear to be good for people with a large head/large ears, seems to be the Focal Bathys. This is for people that find the Bose's uncomfortable, which are (from the cheapish options) the most comfortable and spacious on average. If this doesn't fit, at the time of writing, be prepared to spend some serious cash for the focal bathys. The airpod max also MIGHT work, but I can't say for sure. Either are very expensive though.
This is after weeks of research and digging through forums and testing various pairs myself. I've probably been at it for 40+ hours. Good luck.

List of headphones that will most likely not be suitable if your ears are my size or larger in the spoiler
Sony XM4 one of the smallest I tried
Sony XM5 might wrap around your ears, but the pads are shallow and your ears might end up touching the drivers.
Momentum 3, more spacious than the 4 but still not "big". From what I found online the inner ear dimensions appear to be about 65x41mm
Bowers&wilkins px7s2, px8
Bowers&wilkins px7 (not the s2) is larger, but not actively sold anymore
Razer opus, definitely too small
Bose qc45/quietcomfort 2023 might fit if your ears are slightly smaller than mine
Bose 700 is apparently more uncomfortable, not sure about ear size though. But I think it's smaller
QC ultra was less comfortable than the Quietcomfort 2023 to me, probably not a good fit
Mark levinson 5909 deep ear pads but not particularly wide/tall. Around 42x65mm from what I could find
Bang& Olufsen Beoplay H95 is also on the smaller side.
That's +- all the options in the current market.
//End of edit

So far I've tried all these and each of them was too small for my left ear (it's bigger than my right)
-Bose QuietComfort 2023
-Bose Quietcomfort Ultra
-Sony XM4
-Sony XM5 (ears fit but cups too shallow, making my ears rest on the driver)
-Sennheiser momentum 4

I've looked into the airpods max as they're apparently very spacious, but in all honesty I don't like apple and there were a lot of questionable design choices that made me cancel my order.

Is there anything else out there that might possibly fit my ears? At this point my budget has gone up to 1k euros, I really just want to find something with good ANC , good comfort and acceptable sound quality.

Measurement of my left ear is ~6,5cm in length, about ~4cm in width. And this was hard to measure but it sticks out about ~1,5cm as well. Left ear is the pierced one and I added how I measured it, the top part especially is usually the problem part.

I've searched some threads around the mark levinson 5909 and someone posted that the inner ear cup dimensions were about ~42x65mm. So that is probably too small as well :/
Anyone here know something about the focal bathys? Is it spacious? Or are there any other ANC headphones I haven't heard of that could fit me?

Worth nothing I use a sennheiser hd560s behind my PC and although my left ear touches the driver ever so slightly, it is quite comfy. Before that I had a hyperx cloud 2 which was really comfortable for me to wear as well.

Any advice would be appreciated! I've been looking around for weeks but it seems all the ANC wireless over ear headphones are made for people with average/smallish ears :/

You might be able to get different ear pads that fit some of those that you listed? That will likely effect the sound or isolation but possibly open up the internal pad volume to better fit you.

Yeah, that would be my suggestion also, experiment with different pads if larger ones are available, rather than different headphones. Or go wireless IEMs.

I've looked around a lot but had a hard time finding anything that could resolve my problems. Lots of replacement pads but little to no custom, thicker AND wider pads. There was one for the XM4 but you are indeed correct that it impacts the ANC, and for the XM4 from what I've read the difference was massive. Good ANC really is a must for me, I live in a busy place and all the sound is making me lose my mind.

my head& ears are by no stanard, either...

i'm pretty happy with the XM4 over ears (not the pods)

sound wise (tho i can't really stand pods/iem's shoved in my ears), the oneplus buds pro 2 were also good sounding (ANC was a lot softer than Sony's tho)

I will vouch for the Brainwavz ear pads. They measure 70mm x 50mm internally and are the largest I've found. Big ear gang! No idea on their effect for ANC or SQ but it's easy to test them and return them if they don't work out.

Have you tried wireless IEMs? Apple Airpods Pro have the best ANC I've tried.

That's strange because the XM4 was among the smallest of those I tried (alongside the momentum 4) and least comfortable for me personally. Top of my ear would hurt and get numb after 15 minutes.
I have the same problem with IEM's

For which model?

I've used them on several sets of headphones, none of those ANC ones. You'd just have to figure out if any of those would take them. I'm sure others have tried and posted if it was possible. It definitely in the mod category, so YMMV.

I have some WF-C700N buds I rarely wear, I've always preferred over-ears to IEMS. Hate the feeling of something being lodged up my ears

Hi @Epsi19! Welcome to ASR.

Take a look at this table: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/table/137691

Unfortunately, rtings does not measure ear cup space, but from their photos, these models look pretty roomy:

Razer Opus
Focal Bathys
Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless
Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 Wireless
Thank you, I will look into the momentum 3 and razer opus.
I've also digged around a little further on the Focal Bathys and it seems it has a rather spacious fit indeed.
It does look god awful to me but at this point I'm willing to look past that haha

Momentum 3 is apparently bigger than the Momentum 4 as well, which was among the smallest I've tried. So another possible avenue.
The bowers& wilkins I've researched and apparently they're on the smaller side IIRC

If I absolutely can't find anything I might try this, but generally speaking the trend seems to be that if the replacement ear cups differ a lot from the one made by the manufacturer, the ANC performance goes down a lot. Some anc>No anc still but if possible I'm going to try and find something that'll give me 100% of it's performance

There's a new "Dune" colorway, maybe that's more your style?

Hey, welcome to ASR. I would second the suggestion to try different ear pads even if they aren't listed as official replacements for the headphones you want. We sold headphones at my previous company, and we used to tell people to try Brainwavs if they didn't like our stock pads. They weren't designed to fit, but they happened to. Headphone pads usually attach by stretching around a frame, so as long as the dimensions are *roughly* (give or take a few mm in either direction) correct you can often get random pads to fit on random headphones. It can be tricky to get them on, but they tend to stay on once they're on.

The best ANC performance on the market (as far as I know) is from Sony or Bose, so your best outcome is probably finding giant pads that happen to fit the best models in those ranges.

Airpods Max dont have widest earpads, but they are the deepest in combination with the deep set drivers. Soundcore Space One and Q45 have some of the largest space for ears. Bathys is bigger than average ANC headphone, I assume they have extra large volume for ears.

My best suggestion, wait for upocomming Sonos Ace headphone.

Haven't tried the anker models yet, but they don't seem exceptionally roomy from pictures/videos. I could still give them a try though.
Bathys should fit me but I've let the idea sink in a little while and they're really not worth it for me. My priorities are 1) ANC and 2)Comfort. And while there is ANC on the bathys, it's not that good compared to the boses/sony's.

Good suggestion on the Sonos, I'll keep an eye on those and hope they didn't forget about the large-eared people in the world.
