What did you do with those Thiel 3.5? They were amazing speakers for spatial / soundstage resolution and time coherence, iirc. Ever so slightly bright though, but nothing a bit of eq could not remedy.

yes, the thiels were very nice. i sold mine quite some time ago. i know they had a reputation for being bright, but i never thought that to be true.

i've always wanted to try the 3.6's but never have had the opportunity. now, i think i've got too many speakers to take on another set unless it were local and too cheap to refuse...

Well, the sub out on the A07 Max is fixed-level, i.e. the volume control on the Max won’t change the sub signal.

Is the 3.5 aux out on A07 Max (Aiyima) for sub (low freq) only or is it a full-range?
