Dirac best curve utilization in "bright" room

Hello everyone - I am looking for some opinions/ideas on designing a Dirac curve that can help my bright room. Unfortunately the couch is against a back wall but I have several acoustic panels setup. This is the only setup that will work in the room due to space and a fireplace. Basically, my front 3 speakers (KEF Q350, KEF 650c) match the on axis response at the listening position, instead of a nice downward slope. This results in a very bright sound that is unpleasant at volumes louder than -30db off reference.

I tried the auto Dirac sliders first, and max drop I could add was -3db, but this resulted in basically a flat response. Then, when I manually created a 1db tilt through the whole range, the sound seemed entirely dead. And when measuring in REW, it appeared that I lost a good 5db in the mid range, but above 4k I was still not getting a nice tilt.

How much do I need to exaggerate a curve in Dirac to get a nice downward slope? Thank you
