Dear Friends!

Antonio from Italy! FIrst time here, so hope not breaking any rules with this post!

I have a Sennheiser IE 200 in-ear and a Sennheiser HD 555.

I am searching for a portable DAC/AMP with BT capability, I was searhcing here, it seems Fiio BTR17 is a good option, but I would like your advice too... On the Fiio website I also find BTR7 - BTR15 and BTR13...and it's really difficult for me to understand differences, apart from power. Should I really feel differences if buying the cheapest BTR13 or the BTR17?

And: I know Fiio, but I don't know if I should search in other brands...can you help me?

Qudelix 5K is the default recommendation.

In contrast to FiiO, they have competent developers on their team, and regularly publish free feature updates.
Should be enough power for HD 555? I think mine have 120 ohm

I have just received in the post a Fiio BTR13.

According to their specs it manages (via the balanced output) 220mW into 32ohms and 55mW into 300ohms which should be plenty of power for the vast majority of headphones - certainly there is way more than enough to power yours. It uses a pair of the well regarded Cirrus Logic CS14131 DACs.

Also has parametric EQ unlike the previous generation.

It sounds fine to these ears out of the box (I only got it yesterday however so haven't used it extensively). I'm yet to see third-party tests though (as is the forte of this site), but if the DACs are properly implemented it _should_ be more or less transparent in measurement if other products using these chips are anything to go on - such as Fiio's own KA2: https://www.l7audiolab.com/f/fiio-ka2/

It is very lightweight (possibly -too- lightweight for my preference - it feels a touch flimsy compared to BTR5 I had before).

At the price however I don't think you can go far wrong. It should do all you need and more - with the soecs quoted it should easily be able to power (for instance) the 300ohm HD6XX range.
