Habaneros and ghost peppers can be tough to germinate. Here's how my Benchmark AHB2 helped me out:
1. Soak pepper seeds in diluted chamomile tea overnight. Discard floaters, small seeds, discolored seeds
2. Spread remaining seeds on a damp paper towel and place inside a labeled ziploc bag
3. Place them somewhere warm for a few weeks (in this case, on top of the Benchmark, powered on the whole time)
4. Check intermittently, don't allow to dry out
5. Cut around germinated seeds - picking them off the paper towel will damage the tiny roots
6. Plant about 1/4 inch deep
Happy spring everyone!
