Schematic link for V2024 updated. The SYMEF amplifier off the bat was a great amplifier, so even improving it becomes hard.

SANSUI legacy - a rebirth
Looking forward to revive your problematic 4 stage Sansui amplifier series.Look no further than this thread. Four stage amplifiers were based on the premise that rather than have the input stage doing 32db by itself it would be better to have it do 20db and then a second stage would do 12db before the main gain stage doing around 60db, we dont quite get there but we come close, the main gain stage is highly dependent on output stage input impedance and so 3-4layer output stages are preffered with some even bold enough to do 5 layer output stages, however for this application an EF3 will have to do as there may be the possibility of phase lag oscillation with the hunt for more output stage input impedance. Modules and PCBs available soon. Post details about your amplifier. Replacement alternate schematic available here https://www.pcbway.com/project/shar...audio_power_amplifier_a_rebirth_4a7881e9.html . The second stage also has some level of self cancelling error. The ultra high slew rate has been slightly sacrificed for better stability. You may just fall in love with it.
