Looking forward to tests. I messaged Shenzen moments ago, I will probably not be able to wait until the testing is done. The only problem is I have too many Topping products.

Now we need a 130$ dual Merus power amplifier, no volume control.

Are these the correct cables for connection an XLR balanced pre-out to the PA3s and similar amps with TRS balanced input? Or is there a different wiring scheme for TRS balanced vs TRS stereo connections/cables?

If the performance is on par--and I expect it will be--this blows away the $220 Sabaj A20a for value, and the combo with the D10S Balanced will cost roughly the same as the SMSL AO200 while probably providing better measured, though maybe not audible, performance. However, it does have an external power supply, while I believe the other two have internal.
PA3s also does not appear to have a remote. I am very desktop focused these days so had not even noticed.

Interesting. The Sabaj A20a is not a power brick amp... It has an internal Morsun 350W PFC PSU.
It would have been cool to have the same concept here arf....

A20a, you mean? Just guessing, but it was probably much less expensive to repurpose the existing tooling for the old PA3. And also faster to market and a smaller case. One of the tradeoffs for the $70 cost savings.

The Sabaj A20A (my bad) is about $230
The Topping PA3S is about $175

The Sabaj A20A has good Internal PFC PSU @ 350W (LOF350-20B24 ) and XLR inputs and Sub out + remote control
The Topping is a power brick amp (26VDC probably 6A or 7A about 180W ) with less common TRS balanced inputs

Most balanced dacs are equipped with XLR, so you will need a good TRS > XLR cables.

I imagine there is something for every taste and every wallet.
As for the measurements, we will know more soon I hope)
