It looks overly heavy.

Was OMA 'inspired' by this funny DIY example I have found at Dark Lantern?

But that one is not aerospace aluminum alloy powder that is fused by laser ;)

My last post on this..
Too often we devote so much time on these B.S. HEA items, we know, that in any way would NOT increase our knowledge or the performance of our systems... This thread about a B.S product is 14 pages long ...

I am out and would like to invite others to do the same...

Peace.

Isn't it just a bit of fun?

Smug renaissance men, laughing at the flat-earthers. :)

my point was if it is going to be printed they could have had a bit more fun with the design. Powder bed metal printing isnt any brand new or revolutionary method, though it is expensive. Generative designs tend to have more organic flowing shapes instead of the regular geometric truss (depending on constraints and boundary conditions). Seems befitting of a 360k turntable and they have already committed to the hard part by using additive mfg.

Just looks kinda crude to me as is, for a turntable that cost about the same as we paid for our house.

Being derived from anti ballistic missile defense systems, you must get one. You can conveniently place it on your roof and intercept Hamas incoming rockets.
Lol
We always need more iron domes unfortunately

"K3 has been a seven year project to create and redefine state of the art for vinyl playback. We wanted to set a new mark for the turntable, forming an international collaboration with the world's top experts in direct drive turntable design, motor control, and tonearm technology."
A very interesting and, depending on perspective, handsome design.
All wasted on a 1950s level of performance music reproduction system..
Kind of like a heavily chromed, beautifully painted and perfectly fitted Model T Ford.
It may be purdy, but why ??? LOL
