I've often had the thought that Topping could make a perfectly clean, "black box" crossover. Wouldn't even need adjustability - 80Hz, 24dB/oct could cover the vast majority of needs.

Lack of HPF option

Get an AVR if you want to properly integrate a sub in any capacity

It’s really not all that important, even if sub is crossed over ~20-40Hz higher than speaker rolloff

Cross the sub over to match the rolloff, even if it’s quite lower than 80 Hz
