For sale 2 Genelec 8351b in mystic black with GLM calibration system less than 6 months old. Mint condition, original boxes and all accessories included. Asking $6800.
2 Genelec 7360 subwoofers black $1800 each.

Do the subs really bring something to the 8351B or can they be listened without sub in your opinion?

They sound fine without subs but for that extra low end subs did improve them at least in my experience.

what room size did you use them in and at what distance were you seated?

The room was 20' x 14' with a 12' cathedral ceiling, I sat 8' on a couch the speakers were 8'apart

Would you say the 7360 is well matched to the 8351? I assumed that sub is a better match for the 8341, whilst the 7370 is a better match for the 8351?

I believe that's Genelecs advice for those subwoofers. In my listening space with 2 7360's and GLM they did a good job of getting rid of nulls in the low frequencies. It will also depend on how large your space and listening distance.
