Selling my beloved Ayre K-5xe MP Preamp (here) and P-5xe Phono (listed separately) to shrink down the footprint of my hi-fi.
230V Version (but assuming could be adjusted at the factory if you like).
Aside from having a beautiful and understated design, the KX-5eMP is a very high performing preamp, staying on the Stereophile Class A list from it's introduction through 2017 when it was superseded by the KX-R Twenty (at 5x the price).
In practice, it's dead quiet, functional, and a pleasure to listen to. This one is in unusually good cosmetic and working condition.
Includes a remote which also in good condition.
Ships with original box (which has a very clever suspension mechanism), manual, and remote.
Here is a review with added measurements:
Asking £2250 + shipping at cost. If you take it with the PX-5e Phono Pre, I'll do the set for £3500.

Ayre K-5xeMP line preamplifier
The name Ayre Acoustics is always associated in my mind with preamplifiers; the Colorado company's second product was the K-1 preamplifier, which was reviewed for Stereophile by Wes Phillips in March 1997, and it followed the Ayre pattern in being fully balanced and using no overall loop...
