FS: Headphones: Sennheiser HD 650, AKG K702, MrSpeakers (now Dan Clark Audio) Mad Dog Alpha v3

I’m thinning out my headphone rotation and have the following for sale:

1. Sennheiser HD650 - $250 + shipping. Sold

2. AKG K702 - $120 + shipping. Sold.

These headphones have not seen much use. My idea when buying them was to find a less expensive alternative to Sennheiser HD800/800S, but ended up buying a pair of HD800 shortly thereafter. With EQ they’re still pretty good. Photos to follow in a post below. $120 + shipping from 60606.

3. MrSpeakers (now Dan Clark Audio) Mad Dog v3 with Alpha Pads - $200 + shipping Sold.

These were originally purchased by me in March of 2013, which according to an old newsletter I found in my inbox makes them a version 3. I had kept these in my old office but mostly used speakers or AirPods in there. These modified Fostex planar headphones but Dan Clark on the map. Includes an extra set of unused lambskin pads, which DCA currently sells for $60. Photos to follow in a post below. $200 + shipping from 60606.

I am not too familiar with the older Mr. Speakers offerings but I am having trouble finding info on the exact model you are selling. Is it a Mad Dog? Alpha Dog seems different and I haven't seen any info on a Mad Dog Alpha. Though there seems to have been a Mad Dog Pro.

Looking at my invoice they are described as “NEW! Mad Dog + Leather ALPHA Pads + Comfort Strap” Model MD004. I edited the posts above accordingly. (1st post did not previously say “Alpha.”)
