I just actually subjected myself to watching that entire full hour “debate”. Somehow ordering a $4,500 audiophile networking switch that bottlenecks my throughput at 100 Mbps to lower all that operating noise doesn’t seem so moronic now that I’ve had my rudimentary common sense carpet bombed to that extent. Couldn’t you have at least warned us ahead of time? ‍

You needed warning that a Flat Earther was going to spout nonsense ? ‍

Con man A.J. van den Hul has found a way to avoid being exposed by ASR: You cannot measure ... The Extender. Bravo.

"The Extender emits a signal which communicates direct with the brain."
"Limited loudspeakers performance, colored acoustics or even some ear defects are hereby bridged."

Even better: https://www.stereonet.com/au/news/van-den-hul-extends-the-notion-of-musicality

From a past Stereophile Magazine Reviewer:
interviewer:: Would you bet $10,000 that you could tell the difference between two CD players, preamps, amplifiers, or speakers in a double blind test?
reviewer: That's easy. I would not, [though I'd have the best shot on loudspeakers, particularly if I could pick the candidates, say a Klipschorn vs. a BBC LS3/5A!]

I believe there was another who offered $10,000 if one could tell the difference blind testing.
One could even use one's own personal ways of testing. I heard he had amassed some $150,000.

Of course, if one discusses the matter with medical specialists, the "typical" audio blind/dbt one sees
pushed is heavily skewed towards no sonic difference.

I think it's on one of the first pages of this thread.

Could be fun to get hold of one, remove all innards except the connectors, switches and the red LED, and then swap it with the real one at some audio show while people aren't looking. I bet they won't notice and just keep raving about the amazing benefits.

Although I'm not ready to waste $5000 on a pair just to get that laugh.

It has a connector named OUT_COIL and the PCB is named Field Generator.

Wouldn't be surprised if the only thing it actually does, is mess up your wifi. Or maybe you can use it as a wireless phone charger.
