Hi
I'm looking to buy a 3 or 4-channel power amp based on the Hypex NC502MP modules. My first choice was the VTV which is the cheapest option I found:
I notice that it uses coaxed shielded cables for the input signals instead of the commonly found (Hypex standard?) flat ribbon interconnects, as those in the Buckeye amps:

However, then I noticed that the photo on the VTV product page is not of the NC502MP module. It looks like the NC122MP.
I did contact VTV (Warren Coleman - the owner) and brought this to their attention but he told me that it is the NC502MP but an old photo of a previous revision, which of course don't make sense because Hypex never had more than one version of the NC502MP.
I kindly asked him to send me an updated photo of the amp's internal but to my surprise he dodged this request. So now, VTV is no longer an option, which leaves me with Buckeye and with my other concern: why a flat unshielded ribbon cable is used for the input signal instead of a shielded one, like the NC502MP cable set offered by Ghent Audio:

Shouldn't a shielded cable provide better noise immunity that a ribbon?
@Buckeye Amps
Thanks

B-series Stereo case-kit, applicable modules are: ( case-kit exclude the following module) ------ NC502MP ------ It's a solderless kit if choosing screw-type XLR :) ------ Custom drilling for other suitable modules
