When playing the Hans Zimmer Live in Prague concert (Atmos, but TrueHD in the CX-A5000).
Enabling pure direct alleviates but doesn't remove the whine.
Prior RX-A810, and RX-A2030 did not have this.
IMO the RX-A2030 actually sounded a bit better. I'm suspecting room correction is the reason for this whine, and am considering only doing a basic YPAO calibration as opposed to their advanced 3-position (at each multi-position spot) YPAO.
I'm considering "downgrading" to the RX-A2030, but it's difficult to tell with used equipment. Maybe mine has some issue and my rx-2030 was fine?
