Dear all,
I will replace my '98 Audiolab 8000A this year. It has served me well, but is now noisy and has none of the modern functionalities I want.
I need your help as I'm getting a bit confused about what amp should buy.
My use case:
But... does it really make sense to buy an AVR if I don't intend to go into surround sound?
Would I get better results with a 2-channel amp, such as a Lyngdorf TDA-1120?
Any advice would help! Thanks!

My use case:
- I own a pair of '23 Dynaudio Emit 50 floorstanders. I use these for audio and video. I have no intention in going anywhere but 2.0 (at the moment anyway).
- I have a Rega Planar 3 with a Rega MM cartridge, so I need a MM input.
- I have a '22 LG C1, and watch at about 3m distance.
- I own a Sony Playstation and a BlueRay/CD player.
- I listen to music 70% of the time, and video is 30%.
- I don't listen very loud, but like dynamics and firm bass control.
- I would very much like a room correction device included in the amp.
- The room is not very large, see picture.
- I use Spotify as my main music streaming service, but also listen to streaming radios as well (Radio Paradise, FIP...).
- Bluetooth is mandatory.
- I use an Apple Iphone so I guess it would be nice if the amp enables the use of Apple codec.
- I strongly prefer an all-in-one box, it would replace my current Audiolab 8000A, Topping E20 ii DAC, and iFi Audio Bluetooth receiver.
- Budget is between 1 and 2 k€.
