This is 20 minutes of supposed engineers talking nonsense about source measurements. Of course they "don't matter" because our expensive headphones only look good next to some overpriced and likely poorly engineered boutique amp.

The distortion discussion at around 4 mins indicates the lead guy maybe hasn't seen the distortion charts of his own headphones.

Abyss appears to be hoping that readers will simply miss the obvious conflict of interest, here. As a purveyor of the very overpriced hardware described in this response, it would be absurd for them to do anything other than insist that the measurements must be somehow inadequate and that we shouldn't bother to perform ABX testing.

I suppose that since there exists a marketplace for expensive cables, magic rocks and doorstops, they must all make a difference, too. It's a blatant argumentum ad populum.
