Thought this might be useful for some people, Mean Well adapters that open up a large range of high quality SMPSs available from electronics suppliers (such as RS, Farnell et al in the UK);
Meanwell Adapter DC -PLUG -R7BF/P1M/P1J -P1I/P1M/P1L/P3A/P3B/P3C/P1IR/P1MR/P1LR/P1JR/R6B/R7B/R1B/P1Jadapter Changeable DC Plug
The first two are the relevant ones in most cases, 5.5x2.5 and 5.5x2.1 (11mm length) respectively.
I was searching for these and couldn't find them, ended up buying a good SMPS with a barrel jack, but just ordered each of the 5.5x2.5 and 5.5x2.1's anyway.
