Thing is, Reserve line is regularly discounted in France for quite a while (also saw the R600 for 800€, R200 at 450€, and even R700 went down to 1200€). From what I heard, this series does not sell very well, or at least somewhat below their expectations at launch (Sound United at the time, now Masimo).

It happens. I always had good success with Polk product though. Things can change though I suppose.

My (very personal) guess is that most customers weren't interested to spend that much for Polk speakers. It seems like the brand still has a very cheap/budget/entry-level vibe surrounding it. But sure, this can change !

it has been at that range (sub 500EUR) for like 2 months. HCS is known for sell things at unbeatable prices for whatever reasons. Mostly French brands like Focal, but Polk also.
