Hello all,

I've recently set up my new little 5.1 sound system.

I use the Kef Q350 for L C R, however they are positioned quite close to the wall and the center is in a cabinet (for now)
I was wondering if I should keep the ports plugged since they are really close to the wall.

Below I have some results with the port plugged and unplugged (All tough the unplugged measurements were performed with only a 3 position run, not the full 8)

Am I right in thinking that I should keep them plugged?

(First three pictures are with the port plugged)

I have one sub currently.

Room is shaped like a rectangle with the speakers on one of the long sides and the listing position on the other long side.
Distance between these to walls is about 4m.

Yes first room influenced peek is at 42 Hz that's how I knew room length, I hope sub is close enclosure one. You will need at least basic room correction (cuple PEQ's or something better) to deel with those.

I currently use Audyssey One which works quite well I think.

Sadly I have Mivoc Hype 10 G2 which is not fully sealed

Well at least port is in front. I do mine 2.2 old fashion by hand including and some Serko70's techniques trough JRiver for WDM and ISO 226 2003. I known your room length partly to his averaging table for first order room refraction for virtual bass area. Will watch about Audyssey One and see what it's about when I get time.
