This is actually an error of translation on the site. I contacted Moondrop and the S8 has not been altered.

I remember once upon a time after the B2 review, @amirm said the S8 was there to test. I'm guessing it went back into the pile or back to owner.

I bought a pair a couple of weeks ago anyway but would still love to see the measurements. I suspect quite high distortion in the low end.
