I have purchased a DAC/ADC, etc multi purpose amp Korg nu-1 (JDM).

I also have a down step transformer for 100V to US 120V conversation. I would like to use this together with my power amplifier, Rotel 1582mk2.

However, I have come up w one question.

This equipment has XLR input/output as pictured. But the Japanese users guide says:
XLR出力はスタジオ機器を接続することを前提として設計されています(基準レベル:+4dBu)。民生用オーディオ機器のXLR入力に接続した場合にレベルが大きく、ことがあります。詳しくはバランス接続する機器の取扱 説明書を参照してください。

In translation by generative AI:

XLR output is designed for connecting studio equipment (reference level: +4dBu). If you connect it to the XLR input of consumer audio equipment, the level may be too high and cause distortion. For details, please refer to the instruction manual of the equipment you are connecting in a balanced way.

So am I safe to use XLR with my Rotel 1582mk2 as balanced?

It specs out as:

INPUT SENSITIVITY
Line Level Inputs (RCA): 1.9V
Line Level Inputs (XLR): 3.0V

INPUT IMPEDANCE
Line Level Inputs (RCA): 12kΩ
Line Level Inputs (XLR): 100kΩ
