Been meaning to ask, on these units that have both SE and BAL out, how are each measured? Like for instance, is balanced output power measured only in one channel or combined? And same goes for SE, one channel or combined.

My speaker appear to be flat from the manufacturer, but are they? I’m not sure. They definitely aren’t according to my measurements. What are quasi-anechoic measurements? I’m not familiar with them. Maybe something to do with an anechoic chamber?

I mean as in no peaks or dips anywhere, and also a very flat line.

I know Focal also does opposing PR on their monitors as well. Maybe this particular woofer does not need 2 PR's so that will just be an extra waste of money. That's my guess. And in some cases 1 PR actually does better then 2, but it all depends

From the looks/performance standpoint I think that's a good choice. The price I'm guessing is somewhere from 3-400. Have you decided on drivers, and how they will be implemented? Sealed/ported/PR?

A buddy of mine actually has one of those Dayton DSP boards. I was thinking they hinder the performance in terms of distortion ect but that's just a guess.

If that's the case, perhaps my positioning is not correct, or my room has problems. I'm going to try and isolate the problem by setting them up in another room and measuring them a different way. If the problem still persists (which I hope it wont) then we can agree that the speakers are bad...
