    Receiver shouldnt make a different bass wise unless you have bass setting boosted. Maybe your old speakers didnt have any bass compared to the elac?

    I doubt it extends down that low. Manufacturer always fudge with frequency extension to make the speakers seem to have more bass than it probably has.
