Try Linux Mint or Zorin; they are really intuitive and easy to use. As mentioned elsewhere I was not STEM major and I have no trouble with these two.

Yes! They are both not as stable and their GUI are not user friendly. I have the MacBook Air (16G and 1T) and I cannot believe how much slower and unstable it is to a number of Linux operating systems. And I would like to add I was Lit major back in the day.
