Well, CS43131/43198 realizes the same idea as D1 i.e. switching of the DAC's gain. However, from an engineering point of view, Cirrus...

To be honest, reduced only noise, if more specifically, the harmonics level of your d1 is 10x times worse than ES9039Q2M($5/pcs) at...

It is just marketing. Sound of D-1? Maybe the kludge DAC sounded probably different and not so good by the ears of listnerers, but I...

      1) Your screenshot looks normal. I didn't promise to calibrate each 9039S(because the performance is very consistent), but I do, and you...

In fact, 130db(A) is completely fine for all sorts of audio applications. Do you know some power-amp with S/N way higher than 130db, so...

I didn't play with your d1, I make my conclusions from the review only, and I see there that the DR measured at -70dbfs is far from...

2 decimal orders means 40db and as I see here the split point of d1 is exactly at -40db, hence, all switching artifacts are placed in...

Guys, I don't want to repeat that I see nothing interesting in the entire idea of cascading ADCs, and especially cascading DACs(100.00%...

Your -47db is a gain error, which is not a distortion that humans may hear. The gain difference doesn't create new harmonics or noise...

My code makes a normalization of Lch i.e. a max possible of the distortion-free gain is applied.

BTW, I tested Cosmos ADCiso again, 1.7V inputs with 20Vrms, no problem. Hence, 10Vrms is 100% safe.
