Frank Dernie
Engineer and music lover. Started post-university career in Noise and Vibration research whilst doing engineering work part time for Formula 1 racing cars. Left Garrard in 1976 to work in Formula 1 full time and then was an amateur noise and vibration engineer! Have quite a bit of expertise in record players and over 50 years experience recording concerts. My wife is a professional musician. Retired at the end of the 2009 F1 season.
