Hey Jearle... My AA+ sound so good - they are my first really good speaker. I now wonder what a 'better' speaker like the BMR adds? Since you have both - maybe you could enlighten me?

Buckeye Amps has Hypex/Ncore amps in various configs. I have the 2 channel NC252MP version on order - arrives early April. I'll use it with a Loxjie DAC w/Remote. Maybe get a preamp in the future. btw -I was very close to buying a Yamaha S501/S701 - a good choice IMHO if an Amp won't suffice.

I bought these around 1979 and still have them. I just discovered they are in the IEEE Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame. See article in October 2019 IEEE Spectrum. I can send them to ASR for testing if wanted. They are lightly used and in good condition.
