t's got spell-check of the supernatural variety, keeps the bad spells of others from crossing through your internet into your APO EQ. Hex-proof up to 2000 KV.
I can't even remember what it was I came here to get away from
Probably stuff like that.

In order to avoid electronics to vibrate, I "borrowed" some (very) heavy granite stones from the city, used for side walks.
I don't know any better and this brut material is nice too !

One question I have had is, before spending these huge sums for an interconnect cable, why don't these hifi pilgrims with too much money hire an electronics specialist to come to their home, remove all of the hugely expensive receptacles from the backs of their obscenely expensive equipment and solder raw cables directly between the components point to point?

You sir are a heretic! No one in their right mind would go to using solder instead of very expensive high dollar audiophile approved wall outlets that are like Home Depot outlets that sell for 1/30th of the price. I'm surprised you didn't catch fire saying that. LOL

And in that same vein, if you can swing it, it's nice to have circuits with colored outlets dedicated to a certain purpose. It's not uncommon for studios to have audio-equipment-only circuits designated by outlet color.

How I wish performance venues would switch to hospital grade outlets. It's not a good situation when I have to gaff tape plugs into stage jacks that have been loose for the last decade.

Then you should love "Shunyata Research’s medical division, Clear Image Scientific...", the most terrifying thing I learned from reading this review. Think about that: Shunyata Research's medical division.

The mind reels.

If you google "Hospital grade duplex outlet" you get an interesting response. You get outlets from well known manufacturers of electric devices like Leviton and Pass and Seymour which are priced from about $6 to $25, and also outlets from an audio retailer for well over $100. Me thinks that no boutique audio "manufacturer" has the resources to manufacturer UL listed outlets. So at best they are ordering a small batch with their own labeling.

...as long as it doesn't crush your expensive DAC. (that is a DAC isn't it?)

i have done exhaustive testing with the cat laying on various components and then without the cat on the component. She is not nearly as heavy as your paving stone, but she appears to be composed almost entirely of high grade damping materials.

Yes, the cat is just about the purrfect damping and weight. :)

$3,100 for a 98-cent outlet! Wow!

Perhaps only topped by the MQA flim-flam.:)
