Yes, I bought some Flare thing that people said was good for tinnitus - thanks to a group buy on local forum, and [afaik] I don't have tinnitus. It's still unopened in its packaging - I realised by the time it arrived.
...It's covered on the website - basically, they just say that many people find that it helps with the tinnitus.

Something about shaping the in-flow. Which probably means it depends on the cause of tinnitus.

That's totally false.

Yes, i suppose so. Various causes of tinnitus, but I can't imagine that soundwave inflow has anything to do with it.
It seems that the company came up with that suggestion, but now that I think of it, considering that website text is quite clever and the background of hype/promotion was mentioned here, the page on tinnitus and "many people report that..." is probably false, probably all concocted.

"people report that" is normally a way to boast a claim while maintaining plausible deniability. Usually it translates to "We can not claim this ourselves as it is testable and therefore disprovable"

I think how this kind of marketing works is that it targets highly sugestive people. just like the audio cable market.
skeptical people wont buy it cause they make claims without explaining anything

I foolishly bought the things that were supposed to reduce tinnitus. Serves me right for taking in their BS.
